As for Sam Bankman Fried, let me tell you this: He hated bitcoin and lied in front of congress and a few magazines about it. He told everyone that would listen that bitcoin couldn’t scale as a payment system when he very well knew that the Lightning Network existed and made his little coin obsolete.

He was, in fact, one of the main investors and a major player in the Solana ecosystem.

Most of these crypto entrepreneurs hate bitcoin because they can’t control it, and make their own little coins in which they have all the power. And then, eventually, rug the general public and run with the loot.

Even the Fed knows that limited supply or scarcity is one of the main characteristics of money. It’s common knowledge. If you want to refute that fact, you´ll have to do much better than that unhinged comment.

Bitcoin is not valuable “ because of its “rarity” or “scarcity” alone,” but that was the scope of this particular article. There’s no way to summarize the reasons why bitcoin is perfect money. It’s going to take work. You’ll have to be patient.
