
When he was young, Michael read the author info on a Louis L'Amour paperback and set his goal to emulate him, not as a writer of Westerns, but as a world traveler who has worked scores of very different jobs. In that goal, Michael has been successful. As far as writing goes, he's been writing all of his life, from the moment he could hold a big, fat pencil and reach the table to scribble on a Big Chief tablet, he's been telling stories.
